Man we sure do love this kid! We are a few days shy of 9 months and his "little" personality is beginning to really show. Like his father, Porter really loves gadgets of all kinds though he prefers electronics. Phones, computers, cameras, flashing lights - you name it he loves it. He loves it right up until you take it away and then the tantrums begin. You might be saying Avie, he is too young for tantrums. HA! I beg to differ. One of thesed days we'll put up a full blown give me my "toy" back picture of a tantrum and you'll see. Other things that cause tantrums include being jealous of my time. If I am pre occupied on the phone, cooking dinner, doing laundry, or something else that doesn't revolve around him - watch out. So I ask myself why could he care less if I sit right next to him in the living room. Its only when I need to get something else done. While these examples sound negetive they have emerged with a lot of really great things too. Laughter he is beginning to belly laugh more and more. He is starting to say words such as: Yes, Up, Dog, Boat, Fish, Dadda, Duck, Quack, and MAAAAAAAAA! He waves to just about everyone and is pulling up to standing every chance he gets. He is even following some commands such as: turn the page, put the ball in, and when he feels like it he'll crawl to you when you ask him.
