Starred Photos -- Chaing Mai is a very old city, founded in 1296, and the second largest in Thailand at ~1.6 million people. This is the pagoda at Wat Chedi Laung. Built in 1401, it was destroyed in and earthquake in 1545. The temple layed in ruins until 1991 when it was rebuilt.
