Starred Photos -- As we were Chiang Mai over the New Year holiday we got to see many Thai celebrating the new year. We watched as for a small donations Thais would raise a container filled with water on a pulley system to the top of the temple where it would be upturned so that the waters could cleanse the temple for the new year.
